What did Kim do to Xander?

She thinks he is mad at her for a prank she played on him as a child where he ended up getting lost in the woods for a few hours. But actually, while he was wandering around the woods, he overheard a conversation between his dad and her mom where he found out that his biological dad is Kim's dad. So he spends seven years thinking that they are siblings. But he really doesn't think of her that way, so he treats her like shit, so that she will stay away and he can try and squash his feelings for her.
Why does Aiden hate Elsa so much?

Elsa looks just like her mother. Her mother held Aiden captive as a child and tortured him. Elsa and Aiden formed a friendship during this time and she kept telling him that when her dad got back that he would help them. During the events of Aiden escaping, he thought Elsa died. So not only does she look just like her mom but he also thought she was dead. And then she didn't remember him.
Why is Mia mute?

Mia got kidnapped as a child. They told her that if she told anyone who kidnapped her that they would kill her whole family. So she just stopped talking and then, trauma response, couldn't speak again for many years.
Does Creighton die?

No.
Does Brandon die?

No.
Why does Kayden hate Gareth?

Kayden is trying to use Gareth to get revenge on Gareth's grandfather.
Why does Brandon hate himself?

Brandon was raped as a teenager and he blames himself.
Does Eli and Ava ever have sex?

Why can't Ava remember anything?

Ava suffers from a mental illness that she does not properly medicate for. Sometimes when something traumatic happens, her brain protects itself by making her forget.

What does it mean that Poppy is the Maiden?

It just means that she is special due to her ancestry. She will be able to help Ascend others eventually. Also - due to her ancestry, the Queen will want to marry her off to another Kingdom.
Does Ash rescue Sera from Kolis?

Eventually, yes.
What is Violet's second signet?

She is a Dream Walker. She is able to walk into peoples dreams and even be an active participant.
Does Tairn die?

As of Onyx Storm - No. He better not.
Does Xaden turn full venin?

As of Onyx Storm - No. He appears to evolve into the next level of Venin according to how Sgaeyl describes his eyes.
Why does Violet have silver in her hair?

Due to her father not completing the dedication to the goddess Dunne. All the priestesses who have completed the dedication have a head full of silver hair, but since her was only partial, she only has some silver in her hair.
Does Xaden die in Onyx Storm?

No. Rebecca Yarros has two more books to write for the series and ... he better not die.
Does Broccoli die?

At the end of Onyx Storm, we believe Broccoli to still be alive.
