Characters
Annika - FMC, Jeremy’s sister, the only American to go to Royal Elites. Ends up being roommates with Glyndon.
Creighton - MMC, doesn’t talk much, keeps to himself, is close friends with Remi.
Jeremy - The oldest Volkov child; head of Heathens; very protective of his sister.
Glyndon - Was the FMC of Book 1; Youngest King child; dating Killian
Killian - MMC of Book 1; Heathen; Brother to Gareth.
Brandon - Glyndon’s brother, the nice twin.
Landon - Glyndon’s brother, the crazy twin, Jeremy and him hate each other with a passion.

Plot
Brighton Island in the UK is home to two colleges, very close together. King’s U for Americans and Royal Elite for the British (now there are a few Americans in Elite and some Brits in Kings U but not much). These people come from wealthy, connected families. Like - CEOs of powerful companies and organized crime.
There are also 3 secret societies between these two colleges. Kings U have the Heathens, Elite has the Elites (original right), and then there’s a third, not real sure where they belong - Serpents. They are the most hush hush out of the 3 groups.
*Important to note, the books in this series are happening at the same time. This is Book two of the Legacy of Gods series. Book one can be found here.
Annika has a massive crush on Creighton. Creighton is very quiet, reserved, and broody. Annika is like the most extroverted happy person in this series. She makes it her mission to bring Creigh out of his shell.
Creigh is an adopted King. He had a very rough first 3 years of his life. His dad was murdered, his mom went crazy, killed herself and attempted to kill Creigh. He was adopted by the King family. He wants answers and revenge, not because he misses his biological family or because he doesn't like his adopted family, but he feels like he needs to avenge his 3 year old self. Landon says he can help him find answers, he just needs Creigh to do something for him first. The first task, is to set a small fire at the Heathens compound. Landon is out to cause issues between Heathens and Serpents, so he is trying to frame the fire on them. Creigh goes and sets the small fire, and then for some reason sneaks into Anni's room. Doesn't really do anything except stare at her and then leaves after telling her she talks too much.
The majority of the book is Annika wanting to be with Creigh, Creigh trying to push her away. Then Creigh deciding Annika is his and he's going to keep her. They get together, lots of spice.
There is another fire at the Heathens compound. Pretty sure the Serpents started it, but with encouragement from Landon. Creigh finds out, and knows that Anni is there, so he rushes over there, climbs in her window, she is down the hall, trying to get Jeremy out of his room, but Jeremy is stuck and his door won't open. Creigh rescues her and Jermey. Since he saved Jeremy's life, Jeremy allows them to date for a bit. But then he decides that he doesn't like how close they have gotten so he takes Annika home to New York so she can try and convince her dad that they can date. Their mom has a weird reaction to seeing Creigh's face and tells Anni that maybe she shouldn't be with this boy. Jeremy gets a call from the Island saying that someone has abducted Niko and they want Jeremy to come. They rush back to the Island.
Who took Niko? Oh, Landon and Creighton. Not because Creigh was mad because Jeremy took Annika home but because he found out that Annika's parents are the ones who killed his bio dad and started the whole chain reaction of his shitty childhood.
Jeremy goes to where they are holding Niko, Creighton ends up holding a knife to Jeremy's neck. Annika shows up, with a gun, and tells Creighton that she doesn't want to choose between him and her brother so he needs to put the knife down. Instead, he stabs Jeremy in the arm, and Annika shoots him.
Creigh almost died, Jeremy takes Annika back to New York. Awhile later, Cecily goes to New York and meets up with Annika. They go back to Cecily's plane, where Creigh is weaiting, he kicks Cecily out, and kidnaps Annika to his parents private island. Creigh is having issues because he wants Annika, but he also wants to punish her for shooting him, and punish her family for what they did to 3 year old Creighton. They are on the island for a bit before Annika's dad and his guards show up. Her dad has a gun to Creigh and is threatening to kill him, when Annika puts a gun to her own head. Her dad takes he gun away from Creigh's head as long as Annika agrees to put her gun down.
They go back to the Island. It takes a bit for everyone to forgive Annika for shooting Creigh and for Creigh kidnapping Annika.
One year later, they are still together, and Creigh tells her they will get married one day, and Anni is quick to tell him they are too young for that.
