Hannah is spending the next two weeks in her family’s chalet in the French Alps. She’s a little sad because her brother, Ryan, isn’t going to be able to make it. Ryan has been living in California and hasn’t made it home for Christmas in three years. But Ryan surprises the family by showing up. And he isn’t alone. He brought his roommate, and best friend, Cameron with him. Actually, it was Cameron’s idea. Ryan was super sad about missing Christmas again so Cameron surprised him with plane tickets for both of them.
When they arrive at the chalet, Hannah is so happy to see Ryan, and then immediately is like Oh no…. She recognizes Cameron right away and is super awkward around him. Who is Cameron? Well, he does erotic audio (think the Quinn app). And Hannah? BIGGGG fan of his.
Cameron spends a day or so wondering why Hannah is so weird around him. He thinks he’ll stalk her a little on social media to see what she’s into and then maybe he can make a connection. But when he checks her social media he notices that she follows him and then he notices she has sent many, many, many DMs.
At this exact moment, Hannah is in her room and realizes that she has sent many DMs to Cameron and she quickly goes into her messages to delete them and notices that they get marked “Seen.”
Now that Cameron knows that Hannah knows who he is, he decides to wait for her to tell him. But she is not about to do that at all. She goes skiing with him and Ryan and teaches Cameron how to ski.
A few days later, Hannah gets a notification that says there is a new post from Cameron. It’s an audio from one of his series called “Can I tell you something?” In it he usually tells his listeners a story about himself. This time, he’s talking about how he’s on vacation with his roommate in the French Alps and how hot he finds his roommate's sister. Hannah is like what … is …. happening?!
A day later, they kinda talk about it. He tells her that he won’t pick on her about it, he doesn’t want things to be awkward between them. That night, they go to the local bar with Ryan. He meets up with one of his longtime flings so that leaves Hannah and Cameron to get home later. They end up in the woods and Cameron tells her he wants to kiss her. When they get home, they want to go to bed together but Cameron is afraid Ryan will walk in on them if they’re in his room and Hannah is worried her parents will hear in her room.
They sneak around for the next few days. The day after Christmas, Hannah’s mom finds a condom wrapper in the living room and blames Ryan. When Ryan denies it and realizes it has to be from Cameron he yells at Cameron and then they start fighting. Well, Ryan starts fighting Cameron and Cameron defends himself. He announces to the whole house that he is starting to fall for Hannah.
Cameron and Ryan make up eventually and Hannah talks to Ryan on her own. Basically says I appreciate you being the brother protector but I don’t need that right now.
Five months later - Hannah is still living in London and Cameron in LA. But he calls with news - he got a job in London. He’s moving there.
