Cecily - FMC, roommate to Glyndon, Ava, ad Annika.
Jeremy - MMC, The oldest Volkov child; head of Heathens; very protective of his sister, Annika.
Annika - Jeremy’s sister, the only American to go to Royal Elites. Ends up being roommates with Glyndon.
Creighton - brother to Eli, dating Annika, doesn’t talk much, keeps to himself, is close friends with Remi.
Glyndon - Was the FMC of Book 1; Youngest King child; dating Killian
Killian - MMC of Book 1; Heathen; Brother to Gareth.
Brandon - Glyndon’s brother, the nice twin.
Landon - Glyndon’s brother, the crazy twin, Jeremy and him hate each other with a passion.

Plot
Brighton Island in the UK is home to two colleges, very close together. King’s U for Americans and Royal Elite for the British (now there are a few Americans in Elite and some Brits in Kings U but not much). These people come from wealthy, connected families. Like - CEOs of powerful companies and organized crime.
There are also 3 secret societies between these two colleges. Kings U have the Heathens, Elite has the Elites (original right), and then there’s a third, not real sure where they belong - Serpents. They are the most hush hush out of the 3 groups.
*Important to note, the books in this series are happening at the same time. This is Book three of the Legacy of Gods series. Book one and Book two can be found here.
Cecily shows up to the Heathens initiation using someone else’s (I believe its Creightons) invitation. Landon asked her to go and relay information back to him. Cecily has a major crush on Landon but Landon doesn’t seem to think of her that way. At the initiation she accidentally catches Jeremy’s attention.
Cecily knows that Landon belongs to some kink sex clubs, so she signs up, and makes sure that she puts down everything that will make her match with Landon. But Landon isn’t the one who accepts it- Jeremy does. The kink is that she wants to be chased and it be consensual non consensual sex. When it happens, she doesn’t see the guys face, they don’t end up having sex, but she still gets pissed out when she finds out its Jeremy and not Landon.
A good chunk of the book is the cat and mouse game that Cecily and Jeremy play. Cecily acts like she doesn’t want it, Jeremy’s like too fucking bad, you’re mine now.
We find out that Cecily has male trust issues because when she was in high school, her boyfriend drugged her, and attempted to force her to give him head, and she threw up on him. He called her disgusting, took pictures of her naked, and said he would share them on the internet if she told anyone.
Jeremy, of course, doesn’t react well to this when he finds out. He finds out who the person is and makes sure that he gets the shit kicked out of him and then gets arrested for sexual assault.
Remember the fire that almost killed Jeremy and Annika? Remember that Cecily went to initiation to gather intel for Landon? Landon shared this intel with the Serpents, who set the fire. Now Cecily is suffering with a lot of guilt knowing she played a role in the fire.
During the time when Creighton gets shot, Jeremy gets mad at Cecily, because Cecily turned her back on Annika. But he never stops watching her and he has his bodyguard, Ilya, keep an eye on her as well.
We find out Landon’s motives in the next book, but Landon decides he wants them to be together (for his own benefit of course), and so he goes to where Cecily is at, knowing that Jeremy is watching, knowing it will piss him off and make him jealous. Jeremy does come in and punches Landon in the mouth.
They get back together, but not everything is rosey, because Cecily is still plagued with guilt about the fire. She does eventually tell Jeremy about it and he is livid. Legit thought he was going to strangle her to death.
Since they are broken up, Cecily is spending more time at the animal shelter she volunteers at. There’s a guy that also volunteers there, and he starts acting a little weird towards her. Come to find out, he was friends with the guy that attempted to rape Cecily, they would drug and rape girls together. He drugs her and almost rapes her before Jeremy comes in and cuts his throat.
It flashes forward to a year later, during another initiation, where Jeremy is hunting Cecily in the woods again. Jeremy says that one day soon, he will make this woman his wife.
