Characters
Brandon - Glyndon’s brother, the nice twin. Becomes friends with Mia, has a lot of trauma in his past that he struggles with but hides.
Nikolai - MMC , Brother to Mia and Maya, cousins with Kllian, besties with Jeremy, part of the Heathens. Slightly crazy, manic, but golden retriever energy.
Mia - FMC of Book 4, Nikolai’s sister, twin to Maya. Killian and Jeremy are both very protective of her. Something happened to her when she was young and now she doesn't speak. Communicates with sign language.
Landon - MMC of Book 4, Glyndon’s brother, the "mean" twin, Jeremy and him hate each other with a passion.
Cecily - FMC of Book 3; Roommate to Glyndon, Ava, ad Annika. With Jeremy.

Plot
Brighton Island in the UK is home to two colleges, very close together. King’s U for Americans and Royal Elite for the British (now there are a few Americans in Elite and some Brits in Kings U but not much). These people come from wealthy, connected families. Like - CEOs of powerful companies and organized crime.
There are also 3 secret societies between these two colleges. Kings U have the Heathens, Elite has the Elites (original right), and then there’s a third, not real sure where they belong - Serpents. They are the most hush hush out of the 3 groups.
*Important to note, the books in this series are happening at the same time. This is Book four of the Legacy of Gods series. Book one , Book two , Book three , and Book four can be found here.
Book starts off with Brandon at the Heathens initiation. He’s there because he got a message that they have Landon and he has to show up to get him, but this is a lie. Nikolai catches him and escorts him back to the house where he has successfully completed initiation because Niko wants him to join. From Brandon’s POV we see Glyndon run in (this would be after she was chased by Killian … I need to make a timeline… Okay talked me right into it). Niko is attracted and drawn to Brandon but Brandon is very much in the closet and in denial. Niko stalks him (because of course he does) and finds out he runs every morning, so he shows up every morning to run with him. They hook up in an alleyway one night and Brandon thinks he can hook up with Niko, as long as NO ONE knows. Niko agrees to this for a bit but after a while he starts to resent being a dirty little secret.
This book is my favorite of the series because Niko is a badass, manic, little psycho that turns into a freaking golden retriever around Brandon. This book had me giggling and kicking my feet. But there’s a bunch of conflict because Brandon is in a lot of denial about his sexuality but also because Brandon is hiding a secret which has really taken a toll on his mental health. He frequently cuts himself and has struggled with this since he was 15 and no one knows. When Brandon was 15, his mom’s agent raped him. Brandon has always felt like this was his fault even though he told her No repeatedly.
After Niko finds out about Landon and Mia, and then beats the crap out of Landon and tries to break his wrist, Brandon goes home to his parents house for a bit. Brandon tells his parents about Niko and that he’s gay. His parents are super supportive and his mom says she always knew. And then Niko of course shows up. Brandon’s moms agent comes over for dinner and Niko can tell that something is wrong with Brandon. She confronts Niko basically saying that Brandon is too good for him and then she sends him a video on his phone. Its the video of her raping Brandon (Why did send this? Because she is convinced that Brandon wanted it). Brandon walks in and sees Niko watching it and he grabs a piece of glass and stabs himself in the neck. Niko is able to hold pressure while his parents drive him to the hospital. Seven hours later, he is out of surgery and will eventually be ok.
Niko shows Brandon’s parents the video, then calls his dad (Russian mafia remember?), and says he needs help, this lady needs to die. Landon shows up and is FURIOUS. He tells Niko that whatever he is doing, he wants in.
Niko, Landon, and Niko’s dad goes to that chicks apartment and she conveniently commits suicide … that Niko and Landon assisted her with.
Flash forward a few years later, and Brandon asks Niko to marry him. Niko says yes but is mad because he wanted to propose first.
